MY PRINCIPLES - “To Save a Life is as if you saved the Whole World”

Thanks to my dear mother coupled with my Jewish Studies, below are the three basic guiding principles found in the Torah that our family was raised by and that we incorporate into our daily morning prayers.

• The quote "To save a life is as if you saved the whole world" is written in the Talmud Tractate Sanhedrin (Supreme Council).

• We begin prayers every morning (Arizal Siddur, Kabalistic text) with "I Hereby take upon myself to fulfill the positive commandment, Love your fellow neighbor as yourself" which is written in the Torah; Leviticus 19:18.
