San Diego Magazine honored
the philanthropic community at its 1920s-inspired Charitable Events Registry
party at the El Cortez. Art of Giving awards were presented to Voices for
Children (Nonprofit of the Year), San Diego National Bank (Philanthropic
Business of the Year), David Perez (Philanthropist of the Year) and Linda Katz (Volunteer of the Year). Attendees
included John and Molly Cartmill, Sharon Lawrence, Manoj Motwani, Diane
DeMarino, Bob and Maggie Watkins, Sam Shamieh, Lydia McNeil, Teresa Hixson,
Vicki Eddy and Terry Cooper.
